The Tribe of Uncles –
These three friends have played music and shared many meals together in Hoboken, New York City, The Jersey Shore, and up in the mountains for the past decade. They have hiked the same trails, surfed the same beaches, driven the same roads, and cooked in the same kitchens. They are tellers of the stories of life and good buddies that combine singing, guitars, blues harp, tambourine, djembe, darbuka drum, and rumba shakers in performing original folk songs that bring the audience into the warm home of their music. The Tribe’s frequent venues include folk coffeehouses, poetry readings, libraries, church benefits, beach cafes, the famed Asbury Park Boardwalk, and an annual Buddhist Monastery music festival.
